Monroe resident for 18 years
I would be honored to continue serving as your Mayor of Monroe. I am a 18-year resident of our community, Oregonian for over 50 years, and married to a lifelong Monroe resident. Since 2021 I have served as the Mayor of the City of Monroe. Prior to my role as Mayor, beginning in 2013, I served on the City of Monroe’s Planning Commission and, from 2018 to 2020, as Vice-Chair of the Planning Commission. During my tenure as Planning Commissioner our community experienced new commercial and residential growth with Long Timber Brewing Company, Dollar General, and Red Hills Subdivision. In the last two years we’ve seen new businesses blossom in Monroe including Christmas Junction, Monroe Arts Association, and Monroe Resale Shop. For my next two years as Mayor, I plan to continue to support and build a safe, healthy, and economically vibrant city.

I’m running for re-election as Mayor of Monroe to continue to build on the accomplishments we’ve made together in our community over the last two years. I strongly believe the progress we’ve made as a City would not be possible without our Monroe City Staff, City Council, and our community members. Our City Staff are a dedicated, hardworking team who daily ensure services are maintained for all residents and businesses. Our City Councilors are a diverse group, who support our City employees, and come from all walks of life and experience.
Our community members are tirelessly dedicated to Monroe being a great place to live! They all have one thing in common: They LOVE Monroe! I share their love, dedication, and vision for Monroe! I would love the opportunity to continue working with this fantastic group of volunteers, City Staff, City Councilors, and serve the residents of Monroe. Let’s Keep Moving Forward Together!
