Serving as Mayor of Monroe is a responsibility I value deeply. I’m grateful for the support of community leaders, local organizations, business owners, and residents who believe in working together to build a strong, vibrant, and welcoming Monroe.
Their words reflect the shared commitment we have to our community and its future. I’m honored to have their support and grateful for everyone who continues to contribute to making Monroe a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
For six years, Mayor Dan Sheets has demonstrated commitment to the community of Monroe.
He has created a welcoming and collaborative space for members of the community to express concerns. Additionally, he sets an example of candor and professionalism.
Mayor Sheets has encouraged ongoing productive communication and project management among councilors and commissioners with otherwise distinct opinions and priorities.
He has supported and improved the city’s relationships with local and regional agencies and organizations, for the benefit of Monroe. Monroe’s improved partnerships with state representatives is a direct result of Mayor Sheets’ efforts.
Monroe would be fortunate to have Dan Sheets as Mayor for another term.
